Public Meeting - Distillery

The Village of Nelson will be holding a public meeting on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 6:30pm at the Nelson Community Hall regarding the distillery that will soon be built within the Village limits. Owner, Zach Hetrick along with other family members, and the Village Board will be present at the meeting to answer any questions the residents of Nelson may have. Zach has applied for a conditional use permit for the new location.

Village of Nelson Recycling Center Village of Nelson Property Taxes

A charming historical Mississippi River town located approx. 1 hour south of St. Paul, Minnesota. Nelson, a village in Buffalo County, with a population of approx. 395. Back in 1832 Thompson, Trimble & Morton became the owners of the sections of land. In 1837 J. W. Rhodes and Thomas Nelson platted a village and began the erection of a Mill. The Village of Nelson is located on the east side of the Mississippi River, just across the bridge from Wabasha.
