Request For Conditional Use Permit - Village Of Nelson, WIVILLAGE EDGE FARMS & TOWNSHIP 23 DISTILLERY
Greg Hetrick of Village Edge Farms and Zach Hetrick of Township 23 Distillery, both located in the Village of Nelson, are requesting a Conditional Use Permit for a portion of buildings on the Village Edge Farms property in the Village of Nelson for the purpose of storing barrels aging different types of alcohol, but mainly whiskey.

Area: Approximately 12,737 Square feet of building space.
Federal (Tax and Trade Bureau) and State (WI Dept of Revenue) have all approved these specific buildings.
Buildings will be used just for storage of the barrels, with alcohol aging inside belonging to Township 23 Distillery. They will move barrels back and forth from the distillery to the storage area as necessary.
Zoning meeting to follow Public Meeting approximately at 7:00pm.

A charming historical Mississippi River town located approx. 1 hour south of St. Paul, Minnesota. Nelson, a village in Buffalo County, with a population of approx. 395. Back in 1832 Thompson, Trimble & Morton became the owners of the sections of land. In 1837 J. W. Rhodes and Thomas Nelson platted a village and began the erection of a Mill. The Village of Nelson is located on the east side of the Mississippi River, just across the bridge from Wabasha.
